A CHARITY that helps people discover the gift of music has launched a new fundraising raffle.
Berkshire Music Trust – formerly Berkshire Maestros – offers lessons, classes, and singing cafes for all ages, including early years, and specialist activities for people with dementia or Parkinson’s.
It operates from centres in Reading, Newbury, Windsor, Bracknell, Wokingham and Caversham, as well as teaching in schools.
It relies on donations to help fund its activities, and to help the online event will see people pick up some great prizes … if their name is drawn from a virtual hat.
The group has arranged for more than 45 prizes, donated by organisations across Berkshire. They include tickets for Bucklebury Farm, a tour of Double-Barrelled Brewery, cinema tickets, goodies from Warings Bakery, and an hour of Acupuncture.
Tickets cost £2, and the winning tickets will be drawn on Tuesday, March 19.
