A SPECIAL festive weekend is planned at the Reading branch of IKEA.
Taking place over Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, the store is planning a host of free entertainment including face painting, balloon art, games and competitions.
There will also be 200 special offers for IKEA family members.
The event runs from 11am to 5pm on both days and entry is free.
Younger visitors can also booked for a breakfast with Santa, which will be held in its restaurant. Places are limited, and registered children will receive a festive present from the visitor from Lapland.
The day before, Friday, December 1, a special letter station will be set up in store offering children the opportunity to write a special message to the festive gift giver. The store will then ensure it is sent to the North Pole on December 22, just in time for the big day.
This activity is free.
More festive activities will take place across the month.
