Nuclear Information Service is an independent, not-for-profit research organisation that investigates the UK nuclear weapons programme and publishes accurate and reliable information to stimulate informed debate on disarmament and related issues.
They are seeking a volunteer to join their small team to help with a variety of office tasks including; updating their WordPress website, updating databases and spreadsheets, internet research, preparing mailings and occasional event support.
The right volunteer for this role will be a confident IT user, comfortable using a range of software packages, and have a good standard of spoken and written English.
Shifts will be for four hours on a Tuesday starting at either 10.30am or 1.30pm.

They are seeking Refuge Support Volunteers to join the supportive team in one of their refuges. Volunteers provide support across a number of roles which aim to make the most of skills that volunteers bring with them.
Example roles include; befriending, accompanying residents to appointments/groups, kids clubs/activities, coffee mornings and book clubs.
They are looking for compassionate volunteers who have a passion for working with people and a can-do attitude.
As a Refuge Support Volunteer you will work directly with survivors of domestic abuse, within a supportive and friendly team, therefore gaining the opportunity to contribute and make a real difference at a time of crisis.
Trust House Reading is a small charity based in Reading which offers counselling, therapy, and emotional and practical support to people of all ages and genders affected by rape and sexual abuse.
They would like to create a very simple website which would allow them to view, access and make room bookings online for staff, counsellors and volunteers who utilise the rooms in their building.
Ideally they are looking for someone who has previous experience in this field (professionally or as a hobby) or who is particularly interested in creating websites.
