The League of Friends of Berkshire Hospitals is a charity supporting patients and staff at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and Wokingham Hospital.
They raise money for projects to improve the experience for those receiving treatment, visitors, medical staff, and others who work at the hospital.
They are currently seeking a handful of Volunteer Waiters or Servers to join them at Caversham’s Court Tea Kiosk and help keep the kiosk running smoothly.
The times they require an extra hand will be between Friday and Tuesday, 10am – 5pm, the days and times can be discussed according to the applicant’s availability.
Tasks will include: Serving cakes and drinks both hot and cold training will be provided, cleaning down of the kiosk at the end of the shift, stock rotation, setting up of the kiosk (this will involve a bit of lifting), Money handling and more.

Enrych Berkshire is an organisation that provides people with disabilities extra support to help them to enjoy hobbies, interests and activities of their choosing.
Right now they hope to recruit a friendly volunteer to assist an Enrych member who is visually impaired with getting out and about. This member wants to increase social activities such as attending pub quizzes, as well as having additional support to be able to enjoy walks.
This particular member also works full-time. So they would appreciate your support in the evening or on the weekend.
You are not on your own, Enrych supports all their volunteers and will provide you with the knowledge and training that may be required.
Refugee Support Group’s mission is to improve the lives of Refugees and people seeking asylum, providing support, advice, promotion, awareness and facilitating integration for the local community.
They are currently looking for an admin volunteer to assist the office manager with the day-to-day running of the office and support Refugee Support Group’s mission in providing services to asylum seekers and refugees.
Time commitment would be 10am-5pm once a week, on weekdays.
This role would suit someone with good IT skills with an understanding of safeguarding procedures, and professional boundaries with an ability to deal with distressing situations.
