TWO RIVERS Press is launching a new collection of works by poets in Reading this summer.

Reading Poets: A New Anthology sees poetry from Berkshire’s bards and is set for publication in June.

It follows a a previous anthology which featured work from A.F. Harrold, Claire Dyer, Wendy Klein, Lesley Saunders, with specially-commissioned illustrations from Sally Castle.

The new anthology is edited by Vic Pickup, who regularly hosts poetry events in Reading, featuring work from Kate Behrens, Zannah Kearns, Gill Learner, Katherine Meehan, Robin Thomas, John Froy, and Leslie Saunders.

It has been compiled to reflect the energy and variety of the town’s art scene through poetry from 20 contributors.

The anthology will launch with an event featuring performances from contributors and an opportunity to buy the book.
