Emergency services are on scene at a road traffic collision at Showcase Roundabout in Winnersh, with huge delays expected.
The incident has taken place at the roundabout at the intersection of the B3270, Reading Road, and Wokingham Road.
Police, ambulances, and the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service have all been seen attending to the scene.
The AA reports that traffic has seen considerable disruption in the area.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident, and one person was rescued from a vehicle before being taken for medical attention.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 2:23pm on Monday, 12 January, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Lower Earley Way near Earley.
“Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Whitley Wood, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving two vehicles. Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
“Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 20 minutes.”
