READING has ranked 6th in a list of graffiti hotspots in new research.

Statistics compiled by Sell House Fast show that Reading has made the top ten of places affected by graffiti.

The research examined the number of reports of graffiti in the last three years through Freedom of Information requests to councils.

The London borough Camden topped the list, with 6,582 reports per 100,000 people, followed by Lewisham (4,846 per 100,000), Southampton (3,007 per 100,000), and Hammersmith and Fulham in fourth with 2,048 per 100,000.

Doncaster placed fifth, followed by Reading, Bristol, Kensington and Chelsea, and Manchester, in sixth through ninth place respectively.

Southwark rounded out the list in 10th.
