A COMMUNITY group is holding a guest speaker event for Kenyans living in Reading on Sunday, October 8.
The organisers of Kenyans in Reading Family Fun Day are inviting those who may have relocated to the town recently to learn more about buying land in Kenya, opening bank accounts there and also welcoming nurses who are working at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Reuben Kimani and Julius Karanja, CEO and director of Username Investment Ltd will deliver speeches to inform people about making sound investment decisions.
KRFFD chairman Ken Gathere said: “This is a token of our appreciation for people’s dedication and hard work during our event.
“We look forward to seeing you there and sharing some memorable moments together.”
The event takes place from 2pm-6pm at Ibis Club on Scours Lane.
