READING Festival has added more names to an already packed bill, including which burgeoning acts will be taking to the stage with BBC Introducing.

With 10 weeks to go before fans set up camp in Richfield Avenue, Festival Republic has announced who else will be joining the like of Liam Gallagher, Blink 182, Fred Again, and Lana Del Ray at this year’s festival.

Producer and indie darling Alfie Templeman is making a much-anticipated return to the festival, bringing his signature blend of dance and R&B influences to the BBC Radio 1 stage on the final day of the festival.

American singer/songwriter Dasha is set to open the Main Stage on Friday, hot on the heels of her sophomore album, What Happens Now, back in February.

Dasha combined a number of influences, including power pop, bedroom, and rock, in her debut album, but has since brought country and folk sensibilities to her work.

Punk pair ARXX, hailing from Brighton, will follow a flurry of festival appearances–including Glastonbury and Nijmegen’s Valkhoff Festival–with a performance over on the BBC Introducing stage on the Saturday.

Elsewhere on the BBC Introducing stage, South Arcade, Aziya, and Delilah Bon have been announced, alongside Soft Launch, goth-grunge outfit Venus Grrrls, Ellur, Baby Said, Bottle Rockets, and Berkshire-born Cameron Hayes.

Festival Republic has also laid out the stage times for this year’s festival, taking place from Friday-Sunday, August 23-25, at Little John’s Farm, Richfield Avenue.
