Reading FC ended a dismal run away from home as they finally picked up their first league victory on the road this season with a triumph at Blackpool.
It was not only the first away victory in the league this season, but the first time Reading have picked up three points at Bloomfield Road in a league match since 2001.
Leam Richardson’s side now move further clear of the League One relegation places and move towards mid table.
Kamari Doyle opened the scoring when he tapped in from close range following some excellent work from Daniel Kyerewaa before captain Lewis Wing doubled the lead by slotting home from the penalty spot.

The result was put beyond all doubt when Randell Williams, who recently signed for the club on a short term contract, slammed in at the third time of asking following two blocks from the keeper.
Reading now move onto 22 points from 17 matches. Next up for the Royals they host Peterborough United on Tuesday, December 9th.
