A large presence of emergency services were on scene near The Oracle shopping centre yesterday afternoon (November 20th) as they responded to an incident.
Both police and ambulance crews were both currently at the scene, while they confirmed that there was no risk to the public.
Despite there being no risk to the oublic, police urged the public to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.
A statement from Thames Valley Police said: “We are supporting our colleagues at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust at an incident at the Oracle Centre in Reading.
“There is no risk to the public, but we would ask people to please avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.”
