THAMES Valley Police is appealing for information following a robbery in Reading.
A man in his late 50s was walking through Prospect Park between 5.05pm and 5.25pm on Sunday, June 16, when he was approached by another male.
The offender punched the victim in the face a number of times and then stole five rings, each nine-carat gold, and a black bicycle from the victim.
He sustained injuries to his face and arm requiring hospital treatment, but has since been discharged.
The offender is described as a white male in his thirties, around 5ft 8ins tall with black stubble.
He was wearing a black jacket with a zip down the middle and no hood, as well as black jogging bottoms.
He was also accompanied by a female at the time of the incident, who is described as being white and in her 30s.
Investigating officer DC Katie Shortland said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.
“We are also asking anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage that could assist our enquiry to please come forward.
