FIREBUGS struck in Burghfield during the Whitsun bank holiday and police are appealing for help to find them.
Thames Valley Police officers said a group of youths were seen setting fire to bushes in the Burghfield Common Recreation Ground.
They said CCTV images show the group walking along the footpath off Blands Close, starting the fire, and then running away along School Lane.
The incident happened around 4.30pm on Monday, May 27.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for residents that may have any CCTV footage of this group that would help us identify those responsible. If you, or your neighbours, have any CCTV that would be useful then please get in touch.”
