THAMES Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to find a wanted man from Reading.

Jay Cudlipp, aged 38, is wanted in connection with a robbery at The Co-operative Food in The Triangle, Tilehurst, at 7.55pm on Sunday, July 17.

The offender threatened the cashier, a teenage girl, with a knife and stated he would stab her unless she gave him the money from the till.

The cashier could not get the till open so the offender demanded cigarettes which he had loaded into a black plastic shopping basket before making off on foot.

Cudlipp is 6ft 3ins tall, of medium build and has tattoos on both arms and his neck.

He is known to frequent The Triangle and City Road areas of Tilehurst.
