A landowner has applied to replace seven garages with seven homes.

The plan involves demolishing the garages in Field Road, Coley, and building two two-bed, one one-bed and three four-bed homes within two terraces.

Each would have living space on the ground floor, and bedrooms on the upper floors, with the three-bed homes being three-storeys to accommodate a bedroom.

The application can be seen on Reading Borough Council’s planning portal, under reference 231684.
