HERITAGE Live is returning to Berkshire with a musical celebration straight from the Mediterranean.

Englefield House is set to welcome the live events series next summer when Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics takes over.

Pete Tong, celebrated DJ, producer, and presenter, will bring his showcase event to the estate in Englefield to explore the legacy of dance music.

It will see live re-imaginings of classic house tracks through a mixture of electronic and live orchestral performances.

Alongside the Essential Orchestra, the event will also welcome Grammy award-winning composer, conductor, and arranger Jules Buckley.

It follows Tong’s work with Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra on his 2017 album, Ibiza Classics, which featured performances of songs such as Moloko’s Sing It Back and The Chemical Brothers’ Galvanise.

The show is part of the Heritage Live series of events, which sees live concerts and performances staged in venues of cultural significance in England.

Since its inception, Heritage Live has seen artists such as Robbie Williams, Boy George, Noel Gallagher, Madness, The Jacksons, and Nile Rodgers performing at heritage sites around the country, including the Sandringham Estate.

Promoter Giles Cooper, of GCE Live, said: “Pete Tong is an absolute legend who has provided a soundtrack to life for so many throughout the years.

“What he’s done with Ibiza Classics is nothing short of spectacular–we cannot wait to host Pete, Jules and the Essential Orchestra at Englefield for what will truly be an historic show.”

Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics takes place at Englefield House on Saturday, July 20, from 3pm-10.30pm.
