The owner of a patch of land in Upper Redlands Road opposite Wantage Hall in the university area has applied to build a new home on the site.
A five-bedroom home was approved in December 2021, but work did not start.
A fresh plan would see a four double bedroom home built on the site.
A previous application, reference 231288, was refused last November, with a council planning officer ruling the design was inappropriate and expressed concerns over tree loss.
The revised application can be seen by logging on to Reading Borough Council’s planning website, searching for reference 240279.
