PROGRESS Theatre is showing two never-before-seen plays from Reading writers as part of its Progress Premiers showcase.
Moles, by Sarah Wright, follows a group of people working in a disused underground station in 1941.
A new member of staff arrives as the residents discover there is a mole among them.
Dirt, by Caroline White, follows the discovery of an unexpected corpse by a family of body snatchers in 1820s Manchester.
One of the daughters seems to know why the grave had two bodies but is not entirely forthcoming with an explanation.
Meanwhile her brothers are concerned about rivals as a father struggles to protect the business from government meddling and growing competition.
Progress features a number of accessible show dates, including socially distanced performances.
Relaxed performances are adapted to make provisions for families with young children and people with physical or special needs.
Progress Premiers is showing both plays in a daily double bill from 7.45pm, Wednesday-Saturday, June 12-15, including a matinee on Saturday, June 15.
