POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a hit and run incident in east Reading.
It happened around 6.55am on Friday, December 8, on Wokingham Road.
A man in his 30s was crossing the road in the direction of Palmer Park when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
He was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where is being treated for his injuries.
Thames Valley Police is investigating and hoping someone will have CCTV or dashcam footage that could help trace the vehicle.
Investigating Officer PC Gareth Miles, from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “This incident has left a pedestrian with injuries requiring treatment in hospital.
“We do not have any details for the car involved and would appeal to anybody that witnessed the incident to please get in touch.
“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.”
