Southern Region Women’s Premier

READING FC were thumped by Oxford City in their opening home match of the new campaign.

The Royals are now playing their home matches at Slough Town’s Arbour Park, but weren’t able to mark the occasion with celebration as the visitors took a 5-0 victory.

WOODLEY UNITED made it two wins from three as they got the better of Winchester City Flyers with a dramatic stoppage time winner.

ASCOT UNITED remain unbeaten after they picked up an away point against Wycombe Wanderers. Beth Lloyd and Leah Littlechild scored in the 2-2 draw.

Southern Region Women’s Division One North

ASCOT UNITED RESERVES earned their first win of the season with a 5-3 triumph over Wycombe Wanderers U23s.

Sarah Jones netted a hat-trick and there were goals from both Laura Moss and Tiffany Skinner.

TILEHURST PANTHERS picked up three points on their trip to CAVERSHAM UNITED.

Lydia Vettese netted a brace and Georgia Hayes scored to help the Panthers to a 3-0 success.

Thames Valley Women’s Division One

ASHRIDGE PARK flew past North Leigh with a 5-0 victory in their opening game with goals from Lauren Broadhurst, Katie Sayer, Lucy Thomson and two from Ellie Messitt.

YATELEY UNITED lost out 9-2 at home to Barton United.

Thames Valley Division Two

S4K LADIES earned victory for the first time this season with a 2-1 win over Didcot Town thanks to a Megan Cox double.

Berks & Bucks Women’s Trophy

BERKS COUNTY booked their place in the next round with a 1-0 win at SANDHURST WOLVES as Mollie Steadman bagged the winner.

WOKINGHAM TOWN were eliminated with an 8-1 defeat at Harwell and Hendred, while WARGRAVE were defeated 9-1 by AFC READING.

Thames Valley Women’s Development

FINCHAMPSTEAD DEVELOPMENT made it two wins from two with a 3-0 success against ARBORFIELD.

BURGHFIELD RESERVES enjoyed a 5-1 trip away from home against Wycombe Saints.
