TICKETS are selling fast for an NHS Christmas Concert at Reading Minster.
Anyone who wants to be there is urged to book their ticket soon to avoid missing out.
The Royal Berks Charity invites the community to one of Reading’s most heart-warming festive traditions, its NHS Christmas Concert.
This year’s concert promises a line-up of talent, featuring uplifting performances from Glee Club, Avenue, Newtown Primary School, Sing for Fun, and a beautiful solo performance from Derry Pope.
“We are once again honoured to welcome back our much-loved host, Sangeeta Bhabra, whose warmth and festive spirit help make this event truly special,” said a representative of the charity.
“We are also incredibly grateful to our sponsors, Chancellors Estate Agents, whose generous support helps make this cherished community event possible.”
All proceeds from the evening will support the Royal Berks Charity’s Christmas appeal, dedicated to bringing light, comfort, and dignity to elderly patients at the Royal Berkshire hospital this winter.
“Because of your generosity, elderly patients who may be spending long days away from home — some without a single visitor — will feel valued, remembered, and connected,” added the representative.
“ Your kindness helps fund specialist equipment, uplifting activities, dementia-friendly technology, and thoughtful touches that make hospital life warmer and more human.
“From sparking treasured memories through music to helping someone regain confidence and independence, your support truly makes a difference.
“Together, we can bring joy, comfort, and companionship to those who need it most.”
The concert will take place at Reading Minster, on Friday, December 5.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with the concert beginning at 7pm.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and children 11 years or older, and £5 for children aged three to 11.
