A TWO-DAY celebration of Easter will see a Reading shopping centre taken over by junior Sherlock Holmes.
Broad St. Mall is inviting young shoppers to become detectives and start sleuthing around the site.
Those taking part will be able to design their own ID cards, dress up in a cloak, hat and magnifying glass, and head around the Mall for an interactive trail.
All who take part will enjoy a free reward at the end of it.
The free event is run on a first-come, first-served basis with no booking required. They run hourly between 11am and 4pm on Good Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
Steven Connolly, centre manager for Broad St. Mall, is looking forward to the event.
“We’re excited to be celebrating Easter this year with our two-day det-egg-tives event,” he said.
“Little ones are sure to have a super fun time dressing up as detectives and taking part in the Easter trail, helping to create special memories.
“Plus, with free crafts on offer as well, there is something to keep everyone entertained and we look forward to welcoming our local community to take part.”
