PROGRESS continues to be made on a new housing development in Emmer Green.
Bovis Homes has launched a five-bedroom showhome, one of 223 properties being built on the site of the former Reading Golf Club, off Kidmore End Road.
Amber Bowley, regional sales director for Bovis Homes, said: “We had a steady stream of people wanting to take a tour of the property when we unveiled the home.
“Work is progressing well at the development and we anticipate being in a position to hand over the keys to the first residents this summer.”
The homes at Emmer Green Drive are being built alongside public open space, including new tree planting and a children’s play area.
Bovis says many of the homes benefit from photovoltaic solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.
Prices at Emmer Green Drive start at £727,500.
