Former Reading FC striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson will be a free agent this summer having been released by League One Burton Albion.
The 33-year-old forward has a short spell with the Brewers where he netted five league goals in 13 games, including a goal against the Royals in a 3-2 win for Albion in January.
The Icelandic international spent two seasons with Reading after he was signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He scored 17 goals in all competitions in 56 appearances for Reading, including seven goals in each of his Championship campaigns.
His most memorable game in a Reading shirt came in a 3-0 win over Stevenage in the FA Cup in 2018 where he netted a hat-trick in a game which is remembered for Reading having to change their kit at half-time due to a kit clash.
Since departing Reading in 2019, he has spent time at Millwall, Bolton Wanderers and short stints with both Wrexham and Burton, but we will be searching for a new club this summer.
Bodvarsson has won 54 international caps for Iceland and has scored four times, but has not played for them since 2022.
