Reading FC co-owner Todd Trosclair has given fans an update on the progress that the club is making this summer.
Since Redwood Holding Ltd completed the takeover of Reading Football Club from Dai Yongge, fans have been given regular updates by co-owners Todd Trosclair and Rob Couhig, in stark contrast to the silence throughout Yongge’s tenure.
Taking to X, Trosclair said: ”Royals! Things are going very well. Very good progress on players. I hope you like all the ideas Rob and I are throwing out there. Let us see what tomorrow brings. Football for the people!”
Reading made their first permanent signing yesterday with the addition of former Lincoln City captain Paudie O’Connor on a free transfer.
They have also tied down both Lewis Wing and Joel Pereira to new contracts, while several other new deals have been offered to key first-team players.
Noel Hunt’s team will begin their pre-season later this month ahead of the new 2025/26 campaign.
Reading are due to play against Swindon Town and Oxford United in behind closed doors friendlies next month, while they will play in front of fans against Gillingham at Priestfield before hosting Championship Portsmouth at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
