Reading FC goalkeeping coach Tony Warner looks set to depart the club to join League One Wigan Athletic.
Warner, who has been goalkeeping coach for more than three years with Reading, is expected to join the fellow League One side shortly.
Warner was brought to the club during Paul Ince’s time as Reading manager and has remained a coach under both Ruben Selles and Noel Hunt.
He had a long playing career with many different clubs throughout England and Scotland including Celtic, Aberdeen, Cardiff City, Fulham Leeds United, Leicester City, Tranmere Rovers and more. He is most remembered for his time with Millwall where he made more than 200 appearances.
Wigan finished in 15th place in League One last season on 56 points.
