FOUR people, including a teenager, have been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Reading.

Thames Valley Police has charged Dallen Brown, aged 22 and of Swallows Croft; Davis Nduyimana, aged 22 and of Granville Road; and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Each was charged with a count each of attempted murder and threatening a person with an offensive weapon, bladed article, or corrosive substance in a private place on Tuesday, October 15.

Another man, Keenan Dawes, aged 20 and also of Swallows Croft, Reading, was charged with one count of attempted murder and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place on Thursday, October 17.

The charges follow and incident which took place in Wensley Road, Reading, at around 1pm on Friday, October 11.

Brown, Nduyimana, and the 17-year-old boy appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 15, and Dawes appeared at the same court on Friday, October 18.

All four have been remanded in custody and are now set to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, November 11.
