THREE people have been arrested in connection with an incident of kidnapping in Crowthorne.
Thames Valley Police has arrested a 33-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, and a 35-year-old man, all from Bracknell, on Friday, Sepetember 27, on suspicion of kidnap.
They all remain in custody.
It follows an incident which took place at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, September 25, when a man met with three other people at The Prince Pub in Crowthorne.
They left the venue and walked onto High Street, where the victim was bundled into a vehicle.
The offenders drove with the victim in the vehicle for around 25 minutes, until the victim managed to escape at Binfield Road, Wokingham.
The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Martin said: “I understand that this offence may cause concern in the community but we believe that the individuals involved were known to each other and that this was a targeted and isolated incident.
“We still believe there is no threat to the wider public.”
