A CHANCE to go through a giant bus wash is one of the attractions at the annual Reading Buses open day, coming to the town later this month.
The company is opening the doors of its Great Knollys Street depot to allow people to learn more about its fleet, have fun and raise funds for the Royal Berks Charity.
There will be stalls, activities, an opportunity to explore the fleet, and get a preview of new developments coming soon.
Visitors can also see their name displayed on the front of a bus, try a coconut shy, see vintage buses, and find out how the fleet is kept clean thanks to its famous bus wash rides.
Food stalls offering a range of cuisine will be set up, including a barbecue, curries, cakes, candy floss, ice cream and strawberries and cream.
The event takes place from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, June 30.
Free shuttle buses will run every 20 minutes from 10.40am to 4pm across the day, taking people from the depot to Friar Street, Station Raod and Blagrave Street.
