A STREET in Reading was like a scene in an action movie today, Thursday, May 23, as cast and crew from a Hollywood production visited to shoot scenes for a new feature film.
Tessa Road, off Richfield Avenue, was closed yesterday as film crews arrived reportedly as part of the production of a sequel to the film Greenland.
The film, tipped to star Gerrard Butler, was rumoured to be filming in the area after nearby businesses received a letter that detailed proposed filming dates and resulting road closures.
Production company Anton confirmed proposals with Reading Borough Council last week, and closures are expected to remain until tomorrow evening (Friday, May 24).
Extras could be seen running down the street alongside a tattered, speeding camper van, all followed by drone-mounted cameras.
