THIEVES have been targeting keyless entry cars in recent days and police are urging owners to take action.
They have not released details of where the thefts took place, but said two vehicles were taken.
Thames Valley Police want keyless car owners to keep keys and spares away from the car. They should be stored in a signal-blocking pouch, such as a Faraday bag. This should be checked every few months to ensure it is working.
The wireless signals on the fob should be turned off when not in use.
If buying a second-hand car, the keys should be reprogrammed.
