A CANDLELIT piano recital is to take place in Streatley this Sunday.
St Mary’s Church is the venue for the performance by Russell Thompson.
He will perform pieces by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Liszt.
For the recital, he will be joined by Trudi Thompson who will be playing the final movement of the Carnival of Animals in a duet with Russell.
Ticket sales are on the door only. It starts at 4pm on January 21, with entry £10, or £9 concessions. Afterwards, light refreshments will be served in the neighbouring Morrell Rooms of the Church Lane venue.
