FA Cup fourth qualifying round

BRACKNELL TOWN booked their place in the first-round of the FA Cup with a remarkable win over Dagenham & Redbridge.

Hosting their National League opponents at the SB Stadium, the Robins were looking to repeat last season’s cup magic which saw them reach the first round where they played eventual League One runners-up Ipswich Town.

The Robins had plenty of defending to do in the opening quarter of an hour as they managed to survive a wave of attacks from the visitors.

Bracknell grew into the game and found their rhythm as the teams went in with the score locked at 0-0 at the break.

Bracknell enjoyed an excellent spell at the start of the second-half as Jordan Esprit continued to cause problems for the Dagenham defence.

Kameron English went close to breaking the deadlock for Bracknell but saw his effort well saved by the keeper before they then went even closer from a corner.
