Thames Valley Triathletes are encouraging new people to tryout as the club prepares to celebrate their 40th anniversary this year.
The club which was established by enthusiasts in 1983 now has more than 150 senior members along with a growing junior section.
Founder and head coach Derek Bowley said: “As a club, TVT has some of the best coaching around and we are proud that one third of our coaches are female.”
The club is keen for new members to join and is accepting of athletes of all abilities whether they are experienced runners, cyclists or swimmers or new to fitness and triathlon.
As part of the club’s 40th anniversary, they are launching an annual TVT charity. The inaugrual charity of the club is Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue whereby the club raises money through events and sponsorships.
Liz Drummond, club captain said: “Joining a new club and attending your first training session is really hard. Our no commitement taster sessions make it easy for people to try before they buy and there really is no better time to join the club.”
