THE LIST of performers set to take to the stage in honour of much-loved TV presenter Caroline Flack at a fundraising festival celebrating her life.
FlackStock is returning to Englefield House this summer in honour of the late presenter for its second year to raise critical funds for mental health charities.
The star-studded line-up has been announced by the organisers, friends and family of Caroline’s, featuring comedy, dance, live music, and reflection on her life.
Pop royalty and former lead singer of Theaudience Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be performing, hot on the heels of her seventh studio album, Hana, which was released on Friday, June 2.
She’ll be joined by Matt Goss, who rose to fame with Bros and has released five studio albums of solo work, the latest of which, The Beautiful Unknown, was released in March last year and reached number 7 in the UK charts.
This Feeling will also be performing, following the announcement of the recording of their 7th studio album back in January this year.
Comedian Jason Manford is also among those performing, alongside Olly Murs and Louise Redknapp, with Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec, Matt Richardson, and Charlie Mackesy also tipped to make special appearances.
All Saints’ Mel Blatt, Steve Proud, and Denise Van Outen will be performing DJ sets through the festival too.
Last Year’s event raised £325,000, split between four mental health charities: Choose Love, Samaritans, Mind, and The Charlie Waller Trust.
This year’s festival will again be raising funds for the charities, which family and friends say were close to Caroline’s heart.
Caroline’s mother Christine said: “Last year was bigger and more successful than we could have ever imagined so we are thrilled the festival is coming back for a second time.
“Raising so much money for these brilliant charities was exactly what we’d hoped for – providing a legacy for my Caroline.
“As I’ve said before, Carrie was never more herself or happier than at a music festival with her sister and her friends.
“It’s just incredible to have the support of these excellent acts for a second time and it will be a day not to be missed.”
She also gave “A big thank you to everyone involved for all their hard work; Giles Cooper Entertainment and Englefield House, Live Nation and to all the brilliant sponsors.
“My family are so proud that so many people who knew Carrie loved her so very much.
“Celebrating her life and raising money for the charities once again will be a fantastic event for us all– we hope you can join us.”
Flackstock is set to take place at Englefield House, Pangbourne, from 4pm-10pm on Monday, July 24.
