THAMES Valley Police has confirmed that a body has been found during the course of a search for a man reported missing from Reading.

Police began searching for Patrick, aged 59, who was reported missing after last having been seen at around 9.30am on October 3.

They have now reported that a body has been found in Essex.

While formal identification has not been completed yet, Patrick’s family has been informed and both Thames Valley Police and Essex police are continuing enquiries into the death.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but is not considered suspicious.

In a public statement, Thames Valley Police said: “Formal identification has not yet taken place but Patrick’s family have been informed.
